British born photographer Emma Tempest had the good fortune of growing up by the sea, in Cornwall. The county's dramatic coastline, sumptuous landscapes and clear light have inspired and reflected in her work. Working as both a photographer and director. Emma is renowned for her use of colour and movement and her imagery has achieved recognition for the elegant and engaging portrayal of her subjects. Emma’s films and images have appeared in titles such as American Vogue, i-D France, Beauty Papers, WSJ, Italian Vogue, Vogue China, Vogue Australia British Vogue and Vogue Germany. She has photographed advertising campaigns for leading fashion houses and beauty brands including Cartier, Calvin Klein, Guerlian, Shiseido, Ralph Lauren, Marco Polo, Michael Kors, Mango, Tommy Hilfiger, H&M, Trussardi, Loro Piana and Giorgio Armani.
