Biography
Pierre Michel weaves live action and CG masterfully to create pieces that float somewhere between reality and dreams. His style has developed over ten years of working in advertising and making films.
Pierre started his career in 2001 as a digital artist at Mikros Image working on commercials for L’Oréal, Sfr, Peugeot and other top brands, and more than thirty feature films including Oliver Stone’s Alexandre and Jacques Perrin’s ecological drama Oceans.
His work also includs the 40th anniversary of Ralph Lauren’s work, the Grand Odyssey for the 2005 World Expo, and other advertising campaigns.
In 2006 Pierre created the opening film Polar, for the French film festival of the same name, which played at 40 theaters across Paris and on television, and caught the attention of producers. Then Followed Fire Flower for the French jeweler Loris, and AVP, a promo I.D. for New York’s Aesthetic Vision Productions, which exemplify his unique style.
Pierre is currently working on post-production of his latest short film, and directing commercials. Pierre is definately one to watch.
