Biography

Vesa studied classical Film Directing, Cinematography and Writing at Film school and then began a professional career as a  Director. After Directing music videos and short film, he started to work in a Post Production house, which gave him a good knowledge in working in visual effects and CGI.

He has worked for clients such as Ikea, McDonald's, Nokia, Nintendo, Mars, Frito Lay, Nestle, Volvic and with many top agencies including Goodby Silverstein San Francisco, DDB Stockholm, BBDO Moscow, TBWA Helsinki, M&C Saatchi Germany and Rainey Kelly Campbell Roalfe/Y&R London.

Vesa has won several awards over the years; including Gold Epica and Bronze Epica for his films for McDonald's ("Are we there yet?") and the Swedish battery collection project (“Mistreated”).

Nowadays he continues to work in the advertising world for the clients who desire a creative, stylish and cinematic approach for their projects.
