“What we do in life echoes in eternity.”
Russell Crowe in Ridley Scott’s Gladiator
Stéphane Barbato has lived many lives in one. A native of Avignon, he created a pirate radio station about paranormal activity after which he studied at the Beaux-Arts. Graphist, creative director at an advertising agency, his first film as a director was the medium-length film Play the Game with an original soundtrack by Ennio Morricone. Stéphane Barbato has a love story with music, for him “it’s the image’s erogenous zone”.
Director of the hard-hitting French Road Safety campaign Insoutenable (You Tube’s most seen commercial in 2010), Stéphane is also writing several scripts for feature films. Always eager and on the lookout for new experiences, Stéphane Barbato is exploring new grounds from Berlin to Tokyo and always surrounded by artists, comedians and interesting personalities.
